We have extensive expertise in surveying project across the globe
Our software and services have helped international companies like McDonalds, Bank of America, Atkins, Abercrombie & Fitch, Deutsche Telekom, Deutsche Bahn and many others conduct surveys on site in half the time and at half the cost. We have over 30 years of proven technology expertise, as well as project management, and consulting experience.
Case Study – Atkins
Conducting surveys for Atkins utilizing SiteMaster BIM
One of our long-term clients, Atkins - a large design, engineering, and project management company - has always expected the most accurate and extremely detailed results from their measured building surveys. The advanced technology in SiteMaster has allowed Graebert iSurvey to meet and exceed their expectations, time and time again.
Graebert iSurvey always conducted surveys for Atkins using SiteMaster technology. Prior to the release of SiteMaster BIM, the drawings had to be passed to Atkins’ Design and Engineering departments. Their teams had to redraw the surveyed area and put these drawings into a format that could be transferred to a desktop 3D solution, such as Revit®. This practice is common across the industry and adds time and cost to projects.
“Atkins is fully embracing the change from 2D CAD to BIM and Revit® is allowing us to do this. However, we still have to get our 2D plans and elevations and make them into fully complete 3D models. SiteMaster BIM and our partnership with Graebert iSurvey to collect the measured survey in the field has enabled Atkins to have the right file formats imported directly into Revit with minimal fuss at the CAD/ BIM Design and Engineering department. This eliminates out the need for the building to be redrawn which has the obvious cost savings and reduces the chance for errors. This technology from Graebert is a huge win for Atkins.”
